Ebba Goring Jewellery collections are handmade in Scotland and hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office.

We are proud to partner with SMO (Single Mine Origin), a global standard in responsibly sourced gold, that is fully traceable, from mine to you. SMO Gold (@smo.gold) is only sourced from member mines, who operate responsibly & transparently, who adhere to the highest ESG standards in protecting & promoting their environment & wider community, and who are independently audited, annually.

For all gold pieces made from June 2025, customers will receive a QR code that allows you to trace your gold back to the member mine it came from.

Simply scan the code or visit the SMO website and trace your gold by entering the batch number, which will reveal the name of the SMO member mine, from where your gold was sourced. You can read about the mine and the social and Environmental initiatives taking place local to the mine.
 
Gemstones: We deal with a small selection of reputable diamond and gemstones suppliers that source in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner, adhering to the Kimberley Process.
 
For orders including gemstones we will often order in a selection of stones which you can either select from by appointment or we can then photograph for you to choose from via email. For more information on stones please feel free to contact Ebba, who is happy advise on the different suitability of a particular gemstone and their characteristics.
