The First Collection of Five

Inspired by traditional fishing weights and the coastal industries of Scotland, these five one of a kind pendants combine Scottish hardstones with textured silver, colourful gemstones and leather cords.

Each stone has been sourced in Scotland and individually cut and polished in Fife. The smooth, earthy surfaces of the hardstones contrast with chunky silver bails, detailed with fine crochet textures. Five 1.5mm and five 1mm gemstones are scatter set across the front of each bail, adding sparkle and colour to the design.

Two of the pendants feature vibrant nano ceramic plating, which has been selectively filed back to reveal the silver beneath, creating a worn, textured colour finish. Two others feature oxidised silver, while the fifth retains a natural silver finish.

Each design begins with cotton thread, crocheted by Ebba before being moulded and transformed into solid silver through the ancient technique of lost wax casting. The hardstones are secured with silver rivets holding the textured bails in place.

The pendants hang from 2mm round leather cords, finished with silver end tubes bearing Ebba's hallmark. Measuring approximately 30 inches at their longest, the cords have adjustable sliding knots, allowing them to be worn at different lengths.
