The Priestess Ring is a statement piece in sterling silver, set with locally sourced Balmerino agates and a central champagne princess-cut diamond. The cabochon agates, sourced and hand-cut in Fife, are set in a quatrefoil motif, connecting the piece to the atmospheric ruins of the 13th-century Cistercian monastery at Balmerino, located on the banks of the Tay Estuary.
Ebba has reinterpreted the medieval quatrefoil, traditionally a symbol of good luck, by rotating its form and using a muted colour palette. The delicate tones are contrasted with the bold size of the design, offering a contemporary take on a timeless motif. Rich in historical significance and featuring Ebba’s signature stitched texture, this piece can be custom made with agates from around Scotland or other gemstones.
Each piece in this collection is one of a kind and may be with a retailer, on exhibition, or already sold. Please enquire to check availability. Where possible, similar designs can be made to commission, with the option to choose alternative gemstones or metal.
